I joined the Sirdar Group in May 2019 as Partner and Head of Sirdar Ghana and have a wealth of corporate governance and company secretarial practice experience gained over two decades.
The first 15 years of my career were spent supporting companies listed on the UK Stock Exchange, with the last decade being focused on the family business space in Africa.

I have also been involved in the recapitalisation of companies through private equity financing, listing new companies, handling mergers and acquisitions, and managing employee share plans globally.

My expertise lies in the area of helping Entrepreneurs and Founder CEOs identify the right people to have on their boards, set up their boards and guide boardroom processes.
Having been a founder and managing director of my own business previously, I understand the typical challenges that business owners face when it comes to operations and governance. Leveraging my skills as a certified coach, I am able to probe sensitively and help my clients identify issues and challenges that lie below the proverbial surface when it comes to implementing Boards.

My extensive boardroom involvement keeps me up to date with governance requirements, as does my continuous investment in attending short courses, reading books, listening to podcasts and joining practice communities.
I believe in the need for continuous review and improvement, as what served us yesterday might not serve us tomorrow - sentiments echoed in Carl Jung's words of "We cannot live the afternoon of life according to the program of life's morning, for what was great in the morning will be little at evening and what in the morning was true, at evening will have become a lie."

I also believe that unless one is living in alignment with their core values, it is difficult to experience true fulfilment in business and in life. As our needs and values change as we grow and develop, I believe that it is important to
continuously question the narrative because that narrative may no longer hold true.

I help entrepreneurs identifv what is most important to them and help them let go of the beliefs and values that no longer align with who they truly are so that they can become all they can become.
